First on our list is the Rochester Honkers Baseball ( 307 E Center St., Rochester). Founded in 1994 as part of the Northwoods League, this team has been a fan favorite since it started. Watching their games at the Mayo Field stadium will give you an insight into Rochesters love for baseball and how much they appreciate history since this team traces its roots back to 1895 when it was founded by A.M Martinson.

If soccer is more your style then check out Med City FC (1507 Highway 52 N Frontage Rd #107B). This semiprofessional soccer team was founded in 2016 and competes in National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). One unique thing about Med City FC is that they have a partnership with local youth soccer clubs which allows young players to train under experienced coaches.

The Grizzlies were formed in 2019 as part of NA3HL while Orono Lumberjacks joined USA Central Hockey League after being established just two years ago. Hockey season runs from September through March so there will be plenty of time to catch one or both teams actionpacked games.
