2) Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center (9603 Woods Dr). This museum may not be hidden, per se, but its definitely an undertheradar gem. The exhibits here are moving and powerful exploring not only the atrocities of the Holocaust but also genocide around the world.
3) Mount Prospect Public Library Art Gallery (10 S Emerson St). Dont miss this lovely gallery space located within Mount Prospects public library. Rotating exhibitions showcase local artists working in all mediums paintings, sculptures, mixed media pieces and more.
4) Doubletree by Hilton Hotel ChicagoWood Dale/Itasca Lobby Sculpture Garden (1200 N Mittel Blvd). This unexpected sculpture garden can be found inside a hotel lobby! But dont let that fool you there are some really cool pieces on display here including works by local artist Fran Volz.
5) Old Orchard Country Club Mural (700 W Rand Rd). Tucked away inside this country club restaurant is a stunning mural depicting life in Illinois during Prohibitionera 1920s. It was actually created during that same time period by artist Gustaf Dalstrom!
